We've made this a few times. I add tofu. Plus a little brown sugar to the sauce recipe. You could also add peanuts. It's very filling and the family loves it.

I thought this was delicious. This was easy to make and it's actually very flavorful!

I would reconsider the proporions of chickpeas to the other inredients. The flavor were a bit overwhelmed bythe volume of chickpeas as part of the recipe. Next time I will rebalance the oter ingredients.

Amazing, didn't have rice so just ate it out of the bowl. really simple and really good! really impressed w the sauce as well
