- 2 cups mixed beans (moth beans, moong beans, dried chickpeas, dried peas, kidney beans, black-eyed beans etc soaked overnight)
- 1 onion (small, chopped)
- 1/2 cup grated carrot
- 1 cup button mushrooms (finely chopped)
- 2 large potatoes (or raw banana, boiled, peeled and mashed)
- 4 Tbsp. firm tofu (grated)
- 1 tsp. garlic paste
- 1 tsp. ginger paste
- 1 tsp. coriander powder
- 1 tsp. cumin powder
- 1 handful coriander leaves (finely chopped)
- 1 handful mint leaves (finely chopped)
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 2 tsp. chilli powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. Garam Masala
- 3 Tbsp. rice flour
- 1/2 Tbsp. lime juice
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- salt (to taste)
- 7 burger buns
- 3 sliced tomatoes (onion rings, pickled cucumber, lettuce leaves, or cabbage leaves)
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce (roasted, or any sauce of choice)
