    Only have 3 stars because recipe did not indicate to drain the beans, which I didn’t and it took away from the flavor and made it to watery. I will try again but be sure to drain all the beans first.

    I kind of eyeballed the amounts and didn’t stick to the recipe completely. Also added lime juice for extra kick!

    Awesome flavor and texture! Great with sour cream and guacamole on top!

    Yummy! Slightly modified due to local availability. Made from soaked dried beans instead of canned. And less chili powder because Japanese chili powder (ichimi tougarashi) is much hotter. Came out very good and will make it again.
