- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 cups milk (I used soy milk, but I think cow, almond, and rice milk will all work)
- 1 Tbsp. coconut palm sugar (or 1 chopped medjool date)
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon (plus additional for garnish)
- 3/4 tsp. ground ginger (OR 1/8 inch fresh ginger, finely grated, more to taste)
- 3 Tbsp. chia seeds (divided)
- 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
- 1 banana (sliced)
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- banana extract (Splash of natural, optional)
- 3 ginger snaps (graham crackers, or granola, optional)
