- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. celery salt
- 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup beef broth (4oz, 120ml)
- 1 cup dry white wine (8oz, 240ml)
- 1 bouquet garni
- 1 tsp. dried thyme
- 10 shallots (– 12 medium, peeled, left whole)
- 4 oz. mushrooms (trimmed, sliced)
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch (maizena dissolved in 3 tbs water, if needed)

i ended up using 12 oz mushrooms. i feel that the sauce at the end was missing something. i needed to add quite a bit of salt and pepper to correct the seasoning, and i finished the sauce with butter. thats all though for the adjustments, overall a lovely slow cooker recipe! i did end up using the cornstarch mixture because i think the extra mushrooms let out more liquid. i would make again using these adjustments.
