    This is one of the worst cake recipes I've ever tried. If I could give no stars, I would. The worst part is the frosting. I followed the recipe exactly but I had to dump it down the sink. It didn't turn out white like the photo but muddy sand. The smell was nauseating. Like sticking your head in a can of Horlicks. The consistency was runny. I was able to find a simple four ingredient recipe for whipped frosting to use instead. The cake itself came out flat and shriveled. I was able to assemble and frost, but looks nothing like the photo. My kids thought the white frosting was better. Big waste of time and ingredients.
