This cake is good. It has an excellent consistency, but here’s my complaint: It was bland. It needed more vanilla, or needed spices, like nutmeg or pumpkin pie spice. When I realized this, I put butterscotch syrup on top of everyone eating’s piece. This gave it more flavor, and came close to perfecting the cake. Decently easy to make, I found it pretty worth trying. Thank you for this recipe.

I tried the banana magic custard cake I like it better. The layers came out nice and yes I will be making it again.

Turned out just as the recipe described. My first time whipping egg whites and folding them in... Took out right at 40minutes.

It looked scary before I put it in the oven so I am waiting for the outcome but looks delish so far!

It was good. I added bananas to the mixture and next time will add sliced ones at the bottom of the pan. I topped it off with some salted Carmel sauce, pretty tasty.

I feel it needed more texture. I followed the recipe to a T and it didnt look anything like the picture.
The custard went rubbery and the cake part was insanely thin.

Not as jiggly in the middle as I would like. I think I need to lessen the bake time

Delicious! 10/10 would make again. The only suggestion I would give- I wish the recipe were more specific on what I'm looking for the final product to look/feel like. It advises it should be a 'little wobbly' but I found myself constantly second guessing if the consistency was what I was looking for. Luckily I made the recipe in a glass dish and so relied on the 'wobble method', the crust, a knife coming out of the center clean, and a good look at the layers through the dish for the confidence I needed that my final product was up to par. I highly recommend the same for anyone else making this recipe for the first time.

Very delicious The baking time took longer in my oven by about 15 minutes. The dessert is very rich but light which sounds strange but it is so. I will be making this one again

Kind of jiggly wasn't a really good indicator. I overlooked it slightly, but still came out okay I'm sure that it would have been better with more of the custardy consistency.
