I made this cake the other day. Was very moist but I did add a few drops of almond extract which gave it a lil flavour so good and easy

Came out wonderful! Made it twice so far :) I made exactly as it said and the family loved it. Another family member loves lemon cakes so I substituted the vanilla for pure lemon extract (made the milk into a buttermilk when I mixed them) and it also came out great!!! Perfect flat tops and great taste. Making it for the third time today, definitely my new go to 👍🏻👍🏻
