It turned out fine but I did not enjoy the bitter taste from the orange rind. I could not find Valencia oranges so I used navels instead. Maybe that affected the taste? I won't make again.

I made this cake last night and it was beautiful.
Changes I made were below:
* used almond meal instead of almond flour (as that's all I had in the pantry)
* used 3 heaped teaspoons of honey
* used organic homegrown oranges as we don't have Valencia ones in Sydney, Australia (that I know of).
