- 1 1/2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 4 whole cloves
- 1/2 stick canela
- 1/4 tsp. fennel
- 1/4 tsp. cumin
- 4 cardamom pods
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/4 tsp. ground turmeric
- 1/2 tsp. red chillies (ground, or paprika)
- 1/8 tsp. ground cumin
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 2 Tbsp. masala (Punjabi Chole, find it in Indian stores)
- 100 grams spinach (2c packed, shredded)
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1 cup coconut milk (canned)
- salt (to taste)
- 1 tsp. fenugreek leaves (dried)
