- 2 pineapple (Indonesian: nenas, cored and cut into rings, use enough to cover the bottom of your rice cooker pot)
- 1 cinnamon stick (Indonesian: kayu manis)
- 4 cloves (Indonesian: cengkeh)
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 4 eggs (separate the whites from the yolks)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 50 grams butter (melted)
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla essence
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (sifted)
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- icing sugar (powdered/confectioner's/)
- 1 rice (cooker, mine is a basic 10 cup capacity rice cooker with teflon coating pot)
