We really liked it... cabbage rolls without the fuss!
Added a tsp. Mrs. Dash & Creole Seasoning; then added in a little onion powder, garlic power & black pepper. Wasn’t bland, seasoning was spot on for us!
I did use vegetable stock instead of the chicken, then added the remaining stock to brown rice. Served the Unstuffed Cabbage over the brown rice.

My family loves this, including my toddler. I don't understand the point of pre-mixing the stock and tomato paste, so I skip that step, as everything stirs together just fine in the pot. I do feel it's a bit greasy (mostly an issue as leftovers), but I feel the flavor and moisture content would suffer if I drained any of the beef fat. But that hasn't stopped it from being in the regular rotation at our house!

I liked that it was a one pot dish. I added carrots and fresh tomatoes instead of the canned ones. Very nice!

Very good! Used vegetable broth, Beyond Meat beef crumbles, and kidney beans to make it vegetarian. Will probably add a can of tomato sauce next time. Converted this to an Instant Pot recipe by sautéing in the IP (following original instructions), then just stirring in remaining ingredients, adding another cup of vegetable broth, and pressure cooking on high 8 min with a quick release. Served in bowls and with a side of buttered bread, quinoa, millet, or rice. I like to add hot sauce to mine, too.

I used this recipe as a guide line and made many changes... added a shallot, diced my own garden fresh tomatoes, fried 3 strips of bacon before sautéing the onions/shallots, removed, crushed the bacon and added again while browning the meat. I also added a bay leaf during the boiling process. 😉 4 stars only because the recipe was nothing like I made, but it was a good guideline to this awesome end result.

Method was great. I upped the seasonings quite a bit though, with about 8 cloves of garlic and lots of smoked paprika, sweet paprika, some cayenne, and quite a bit of a Tuscan spice blend my local spice shop sells. Delicious.

I found it a bit bland so I added a little barbecue sauce and then it was perfect for us

I added 1/2 cup grated carrots and some chili flakes. I was delicious, served with integral bread. A nice meal.
