- 4 lb. pork butt (boneless, freeze until semi-solid, then slice into thin slices)
- 2 maui onions (or Sweet)

- 1 cup go chu jang (Korean, available from Asian or Korean grocery store or substitute with your favorite Louisiana hot sauce mixed with ¾ cup of brown sugar)
- 1/4 cup rice wine (Japanese)
- 4 sesame oil (tablespooons)
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tsp. chili flakes (for heat; add more if you like)
- 2 heads garlic (peeled and minced)
- green onion
- white sesame seeds
