I used half the amount in dried beans, two cans of broth and frozen chicken. I’ll have to try again, but it didn’t have much flavor.

Fantastic. I modified it with what I had, which ended up being a low-fat half batch with extra spice, on the stovetop: 1 raw chicken breast, boiled in water then shredded, plus 32oz white beans, 4oz green chiles (drained), 16oz canned mushrooms (drained), 6oz jarred salsa, and a hefty few shakes of chili powder. Half an hour simmering made it absolutely shine. Big winner!!! Spicy but so flavorful, everyone loved it. I left out the cheese, as we are now on a heart-healthy diet, and will probably make the heat milder next time (less salsa - to be kid friendly). Love this guy's recipes, haven't had a bad one yet!!
