Good recipe but I halved the sugar in the brownies and didn't add any sugar to the shortbread layer. Next time I will also make the caramel layer thinner

Decadent and delicious!!!! Pretty easy to make even. I subbed the brownie recipe for a box mix and it turned out just as good I believe!

OMG, these are good! Elan must not have much of a sweet tooth. The sugar was the perfect amount. I would not change a thing. I believe that it stated that the recipe makes 20 serving. That's not a very big piece, however you don't need much. These brownies are meant to be chewed and savored. There are so many favors there. That being said, with all of the layering, it does take quite a bit of time to make. Personally I think that it was worth it, so I will be making these again. My rule of thumb is, you can't rush greatness. There you have it!

I had to cut some of the white sugar out of brownies and put none in cookie layer. Still VERY sweet .
