- 1 bunch turnips (salad, plus 1 bunch turnips with greens, peeled and chopped)
- 1/2 lb. italian sausage (or 2 to 3 links of sausage)
- 1 cup chopped onion (optional but really good)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced, also optional)
- 2 medium potatoes (large or 4, diced)
