Actually they were a bit on the burnt side. We were very disappointed. However, my father decided to taste one anyway. They were wonderful!!! I cannot wait to try make them again.

I'll go neutral on these for now. I think I under seasoned then a bit, and maybe they needed more cook time because the texture could have been softer on the inside. Not super familiar with cooking turnips, so maybe it was just me. I will probably try again because I see potential. I will blanch first next time to enhance flavor and see what happens
