8 SERVINGS
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tsp. minced garlic (I used minced garlic from a jar, but fresh garlic would be even better)
- 2 Tbsp. green chile (diced, I used about half of a 4 oz. jar of diced green chiles, recipe called for fresh chiles which would be a bit hotter)
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp. chipotle chile powder (ground, recipe called for cayenne)
- 1 1/2 lb. ground turkey
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup green onions sliced (thinly)
- 1 bunch cilantro (finely chopped, about 1 1/4 cups chopped cilantro. I used 1 cup in tacos and 1/4 cup in salsa. Use more or less cilantro to taste.)
- 2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
- 2 heads romaine lettuce (or use iceberg, Boston lettuce, or butter lettuce)
- 2 avocado (medium, diced)
- 1 1/2 cups cherry tomatoes (finely chopped)
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (finely)
- 2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil (optional)
- sea salt (to taste)

This is so fresh and delicious! I did use a whole pint of grape tomatoes, and I added a jalapeño and 1/2 red onion to the salsa, and doubled the amount of lime juice. I usually need sour cream on my tacos, but this salsa was so creamy and delicious, I didn't need it!

Delicious! The lime juice makes it! The only thing I did differently was I diced up 1/4 yellow onion (instead of using green onions) and sautéed it with the garlic until soft, and I replaced salt with garlic salt and added pepper. My hubs loved it too. Will for sure make this again!

Flavors were perfect and fresh. I had to use ancho chili powder instead 1 tsp was perfect. I also sprinkled some queso fresco on top. Delicious!

Just the mist perfect combination of spices and good products! Feels amazing to eat something this delicious with a good conscience. 😊 I had mine with moringa coconut wraps.

This recipe was so delicious, fresh and surprisingly filling. The tomato-avocado salsa was well worth the extra step. I like lime a lot so I added a little extra to both the meat and the salsa. The chipotle chili powder was a little pricey so I used about a tablespoon of regular chili powder and a dash of cayenne pepper. I don't like hot food but this combo gave it a little kick, but hardly any heat. So yummy and healthy!
