- 32 oz. low sodium chicken stock
- 2 onions (medium, diced)
- 4 carrots (peeled and sliced into 1 inch" rounds)
- 1 head broccoli (chopped)
- 2 Tbsp. butter (approximately)
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil (approximately, we use Delallo Olive Oil)
- 3 cups turkey meat (leftover chopped, chicken subs great!)
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme (or a few fresh sprigs)
- 1 tsp. powdered garlic (or add in a few cloves fresh)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 cup half and half
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 1/2 cups flour (we tried with Bob's Red Mill Whole Wheat and all purpose with equal results)
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup buttermilk (or half and half)
- grated Parmesan cheese
- black pepper

It turned out great with leftovers from thanksgiving. I threw in the gravy for flavor and green beans. Yum!

Soup was delicious! Chopped veggies in food processor
Cooked dumplings at least 15 minutes. (Three min was still raw dough.)
2nd time...1/24/22...can’t remember what I did first time about the dairy???? I don’t want to boil soup with dairy in it; so I guess I’ll leave dairy out.
3rd time: used bone broth from carcass. Added 1 bay leaf and 1 tsp mrs dash. No dairy.
4th time: use half cream and half milk: kept heat low.
