Directions

1. In saucepan, combine cranberry sauce, apple, pecans, sugar and ginger.
2. Cook over low heat, covered, about 10 minutes or until apple is soft.
3. Heat skillet over medium high heat; coat lightly with oil or cooking spray. Add sausage and cook, turning occasionally, about 5 minutes or until cooked through.
4. Serve sausage patties and cranberry relish with whole wheat or cornmeal pancakes.
