Looking for recipes to use apples from the garden and this was a delicious option. Ended up making more burger style than small sausage patties, forgot the fennel and could have used more salt. regardless, everyone thought it was a hit! Definitely will make this again.

My husband loves processed foods so he can be a tough sell but he loves this recipe. I have made them a dozen times.
A simple, healthy recipe that can be tweaked to suit your needs. My daughter can’t eat apples so I used fresh fennel and they were really, really good.

Turned out so great! Hubby loves it! Used celery instead of fennel, sage instead of Italian seasoning, coz I made use whatever I have. Added a dash oregano too! Will make this over and over again!

Mine turned out Great!! I used Ground Chicken instead and I had to triple the measurements for flavor because i did find it to be quite bland. I also added a tablspoon of maple syrup
