Honestly, i didn't try it yet (or even make it), but I have made Tres Leches before. I like how it has butter, unlike other recipes. You don't need butter or oil to pull off a Tres Leches though. The milk sauce makes up for it. But, hey, i love cake. I recommend that you try a Tiramisu Tres Leches. They are heavenly.

This is the best tres leche cake I’ve ever made. I had to add flour to thicken the whip cream but all of it tasted amazing! I also added strawberries on top.

Came out great!!! i of course modified it a tad, like doubleing all the ingredientsfor a bigger cake, adding whipped cream and reeces cup on the top and using a lemon cake for batter aswell, giving it a hint of lemon like taste, and my husband loved it for his birthday!! im lactose intolerant and lemme just say, though it is delicious, dang it is DANGROUS. next time i make it ill see if i can substitute the lactose. yea i know his birthday but i wanna eat it aswell.

This is not my favorite recipe. Because it uses a box cake mix as a base it mostly just tasted like birthday cake. It was also so thick that it didn't absorb much of the milk mixture. I wouldn't make this again.
