I added tsp of almond extract and 1/4 c
Granulated sugar to recipe (even though I’m sure it would have been good without ) because my family loves the flavor and it came out great. I didn’t have the buttermilk on hand so substituted it with a cup of sour cream. I would recommend watching it early or reducing the bake time slightly. I haven’t checked my ovens temperature calibration in quite a while so I should make that a possible recommendation.
