  • 250 grams sourdough starter
  • 275 grams flour
  • 175 grams milk
  • 1 egg
  • 85 grams sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 60 grams butter (softened)
  • 60 grams citrus fruit (candied)

    Directions

    1. Preheat the oven to 210 degrees Celsius. Pour prepared hot tea over the raisins. Let cool, setting aside for at least 2 hours.
    2. Mix the starter with the flour, milk, and egg. Mix well and form into a bowl. Place the dough into an oiled bowl and set aside to rise, halfway doubled in volume.
    3. Add the sugar, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Knead to mix and add the butter, mixing constantly, until smooth.
