Made this dish tonight. I added onions then noticed about it usually has them and I did enjoy the flavor they added. I would like to add a little heat next time because we do like our food spicy in our house. The only change I made aside from the onions is adding corn starch to the flour for the chicken, I do half and half flour/ cornstarch and it gives a really nice crisp coating to the chicken. We decided to leave the chicken separate from the sauce in case we had leftovers. We didn't, but I did like that everyone could choose the amount of sauce they liked that way and not hog the chicken.
