- 1 carrot (large, cut into bite size pieces, can be substituted with pumpkin or sweet potato)
- 3 inches daikon (piece of, Japanese white radish cut into bite size pieces)
- 5 cups dashi stock (240ml per cup or 1.2 litres in total **)
- 3 Tbsp. miso paste (brown)
- 2 Tbsp. spring onions (finely sliced)
- 100 grams kasu (fermented Sake Lees, Sake, – sold frozen in Japanese food shops ****)
