  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 onion (peeled and diced)
  • 1 garlic clove (peeled and minced)
  • 1 kilogram teardrop tomatoes (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons tomato puree
  • 1 basil leaf (minced)
  • fresh rosemary
  • sugar
  • salt
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream

    Directions

    1. Add the butter to a skillet and melt on medium heat. Saute the onion and garlic for 5 minutes.
    2. Add the chopped tomatoes, tomato puree, and basil, and rosemary to taste. Saute for 3 minutes.
    3. Add the ingredients to a food processor and puree until smooth. Strain to remove and seeds.
    4. Add a pinch of sugar and salt to taste. Add the sour cream and mix well.
    5. Plate and serve.
