- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 14.5 oz. diced tomatoes (not drained)
- 2 Roma tomatoes (halved)
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves (firmly packed)
- 1/4 cup dried tomatoes (sun-, soft or packed in oil and drained)
- 1 1/8 red onion (″ slice of)
- 1 garlic clove (small, peeled)
- 2 Tbsp. slivered almonds (blanched)
- 3/4 tsp. sea salt (plus more to taste)
- 1/8 tsp. red pepper flakes (dried, plus more to taste, optional)

Directions
- Place all the ingredients in the blender jar of the KitchenAid® Pro Line® Series Blender. Secure the lid and set the Blender to the Adapti-Blend™ Soup program. Blend until machine turns itself off. Alternatively, blend for about 5 minutes, starting on speed 1 and gradually increasing to speed 10.
- Soup will come out of the Blender hot. Serve immediately.
