    This tasted a bit bland when finished. I did add two diced carrots with the onions to balance the acidity of the tomatoes. Then I added 2-3 Tablespoons of balsamic vinegar and additional salt to taste, about 1/2 tsp. I will definitely make this again!

    Great! Texture not restaurant style because I did not use canned tomatoes. But overall, it was a great easy homemade tomato soup.
