It tastes amazing but the container I used with the ingredient proportions were a bit off might adjust that a bit next time apart from that an overall great recipe

I made one half without any alcohol for a young mom and instead just with chocolate and decaf coffee. The other half of the recipe used mostly red wine and chocolate, with a splash of rum and coffee. Everyone loved it 🙌

This turned out great! Made ahead the night before and the flavors were perfect. Only had dark rum so I skipped the Frangelico’s. I think I may try beating the whip cream longer next time as it wasn’t as firm of a custard as I would have liked, but the taste was amazing. Chocolate, spiced rum, coffee, delish!

I’ve made this recipe, as it’s written, four times and it’s amazing every time. There’s a few steps so it can be a bit intimidating, but with a bit of planning (i.e. preparing the espresso before starting and setting out the marscapone so it’s soft) it flows pretty well. The masterpiece is well worth the effort!! I’m considered “Pretty Amazing” in my household when I make it :)

so...the mixture isn't as thick as I expected. There is not a substantial amount of it for an 8x8 pan - enough for a layer and half of less than an inch thick. I had to make more filling which is why I took a star away. Also, the filling is by far not flavored nor sweet enough. It did nothing to offset the Frangelica and rum, which was too medicinal tasting with the coffee. For the second batch, I made some adjustments... I ended up adding 2 tsps of vanilla to the marscapone mixture before folding in the whipped cream. Also, I added a dash of cinnamon into the whipping cream prior to beating into stiff peaks. For the soaking liquid, I used Frangelica and Kahlua (instead of plain dark rum) the second round which made a much smoother alcohol flavor. Overall, this is a great foundation recipe, but for personal preferences, you will need to tweak the flavors that you enjoy.

Amazing!!! I've made it so many times for fun and any occasion. It gets requested a lot. I don't even like tiramisu that much but this is truly yummily amazing. Thank you!
