  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper (plus more to taste)
  • 4 bacon strips
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 4 cups brussels sprouts (rinsed and halved)
  • 10 sweet mini bell peppers (rinsed, whole)
  • 1/2 red onion (sliced about ⅜" thick)
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
