    I have found that any version of this drink that doesn't use a tart/tarter citrus like Limes (Lemons work OK, too) makes this drink far too sweet and almost "medicinal" (as in like "cough syrup"), at least to me. If I may suggest: THE "JOLLY RANCHER"-style SOUR MELON BALL: 2 parts Midori melon liqueur 1 part Vodka, pick your favorite 1 whole Persian Lime (or two Key Limes), use a citrus clamp-style squeezer (it works best), imho Melon Ball garnish: Either Honeydew or Cantaloupe (Cantaloupes add a nice color contrast) OK, 'nuff said.
