Great... added 1tbs Smoked Paprika, 1/2 shallot, parsnip, 120g sun-dried tomatoes in olive oil, garlic & Italian seasoning, (1) apple, 1c raisins... created a “Sourdough-Corn - Ciabatta” cubed bread mix ... just the right combo of artisan & southern comfort bread taste & texture... the dried tomatoes added a Great dimension, the fruits nicely balanced the impact of fats: butter & sausage ... gave it a fresh more balanced — approaching delicate taste...
Try it... going to probably add fresh raw sweet corn next time ~ 1.5 - 2 cups...

Sausage with turkey dinner???? Not likely I'll try this except with breakfast.

This stuffing turned out perfect with a little sweet from the corn bread to break up all the savory. I used dried herbs in place of fresh, not sure if it changes the outcome much but my results are just delish. I haven't baked it yet, will do that tomorrow on turkey day, but so far it is really good.

A lot of work, but worth it. It has been my favorite recipe for stuffing. I make it every year for Thanksgiving.
