- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar (packed)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 cup almond butter (creamy roasted, use sunbutter for nut-free)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chunks (semi-sweet, do yourself a favor and get the chunks, not the chips, 120 g, I use vegan Enjoy Life brand)
