- 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar (packed)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs (room temperature preferred)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 3 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips (I used half regular semisweet chips and half mini semisweet chips)

The best recipe on earth for cookies. I make these for everyone and they’re always so impressed. Absolutely delicious. I send them to my college roommate via mail because she loved them so much.

How is this the worst chocolate chip cookie recipe?! It was the BEST chocolate chip cookie recipe! It's delicious, amazing, awesome, fantastic, and out of this world!

Sadly this cookie is not for me. Mine turned out just greasy, just as the video did suggest but I measured the dried ingredients very carefully. That and they were just WAY too sweet. I guess I go back toward a more crunchy chocolate chip. Thought I wanted a nice chewy one but this is not the one!

Just finished them. Mine turned out plumper than the recipe picture but delicious! I bought regular and dark chocolate from a chocolate shop and had to “chip” it myself. Worked out great. Don’t second guess the 13 minute bake time. It’s spot on.

This cookie is so delightful and will forever be one of my favorites. Although it does have to chill, it is no lie that much of the 30 min. chilling time is spent with the fridge door open and hands seeking for goodness.

I have spent a few years looking for a satisfactory chocolate chip cookie recipe, and once I tried this one, I stopped looking. This is a perfect one. I have used it several times and it has never failed to please me and my family.

Excellent! 😍😘🍪I always use 1/2cup salted butter and 1/2 cup olive oil. And I used butter flavored syrup and didn't bother melting the oils or refridgerating it. They turned out yummy!

These cookies have good flavor but I was disappointed with the texture. They're very "cakey". I prefer a bit more cookie crunch, but that's me. My search continues for that ultimate to die for chocolate chip cookie.

These are definitely some of the best cookies I have ever made. I cheated and made one sample cookie before I chilled the dough for 30 minutes and I actually liked the texture of that one a little bit better- it was crispy around the edges and chewy and moderately flat in the middle ( but not too flat). The chilled dough made cookies that were a bit thicker and chewier all over. Both were good. This recipe is very easy to make and seems pretty foolproof.
