Very weak taste. Won't be making it like the recipe again. But with a few extra ingredients for flavour it's a decent base recipe.

I made this for my daughters birthday I chose it because I had all the ingredients on hand, and it was great that it was a one-bowl cake. And the “very best” name sounded great the cake turned out dry and had a bland taste I will not be eating another piece and will not make this again
