Loved this!i changed the recipe dramatically with Spanish seasoning adobo, saZon and garlic... not too much very little. Removed steak from pan and threw butter right in to absorb drippings. Add onions peppers... added stark back and put the smallest amount of cornstarch to thicken the sauce. Put entire portion on huge fresh Italian loaf. Foil wrapping not necessary

Ok. No modifications. I think next time I will cook it in a slow cooker to make the meat tender and juicy.

The whole family loved it! I used Montreal steak seasoning and mozzarella cheese because I didn't have provolone. Came out of the oven PERFECT. Make sure you taste test the seasoning before putting it in the oven.

Turned out great maybe next time I’ll try the suggested meat instead of a cheaper cut but it was great

My family and myself were blown away with this recipe. I followed the recipe here and everybody was wowed. Also, I added a bit of thinly sliced mozzarella to provolone, laid one layer like that in the bottom and one layer on top of the sandwich then rolled the whole thing in foil then into the oven..... heavenly!

I thought it came out really well! Rib eye wasn't necessary. Will use a cheaper cut of meat next time.

This recipes is OK, but in Philly, nobody uses green bell peppers on cheesesteaks. We use lots of other peppers - usually on the spicy side. I have literally eaten 400+ of them in my life.... never once saw anybody use green bell peppers.
