Hello 2 years ago
I used a smoked all purpose seasoning that was mostly paprika instead of just paprika, it was sooo delicious! My go-to pork recipe now.

Used smoked paprika, but only 1/2 tsp of cayenne as that was all I had. Did slice some onion on bottom as suggested.

My go-to recipe for pulled pork I add a little barbecue sauce once it’s shredded

Delicious. Sandwiches with some coleslaw and special hot sauce made a great meal. Even the kids ate it up!

Of course after cooking for 8 hours this pork would be tender and was easy to shred. After tasting though it seemed a little bland so I added some spicy barbecue sauce to the juice and that really helped. We put it on a big hamburger bun with some coleslaw on top and YUM!

Delicious, and naturally gluten free. I served it with cole slaw on a corn tortilla.

Great seasoning combo! I’ve pre-cooked the meat by searing the pork really quickly and then added the meat on top of sliced onions so the meat doesn’t stick to the crockpot...also the onion cooks from the base first to give the broth (vinegar+water) more flavor. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

This is amazing and so easy! I love that I can make it according to the recipe and then use it as tacos OR BBQ sandwiches.it just produces a super tender, juicy meat. And throwing it under the broiler creates that carnitas effect. I will use this recipe for all pulled pork in the future.

i substituted chix, and added 1/4 c ketchup and 1/4c sweet baby rays bbq sauce as well as a little extra water and brown sugar. once chicken was cooked i added some corn starch and water to thicken. so good!

Very yummy. I will definitely make it again. I added salt to the finished product because I like salty.

Fantastic
I grew up eating pulled pork, but we never put sauce on it
This doesn’t need a sauce
The best pulled pork I’ve eaten since my mother’s years ago

The meat was very tender and easy to shred, however the flavor was pretty bland.
Though this could allow people to “personalize” their sandwich, taco, etc. with various sauces and condiments. It also makes it easy to throw into later dishes like an omelet or baked potato.
So the process makes a good staple pork dish, just nothing outstanding.

It was exactly what I was looking for. Flavorful pulled pork that wasn’t just BBQ saucy. The only things I changed was to omit the cayenne (for the young kids) and to swap the water and vinegar ratio because we liked the extra tang. Definitely a keeper.

The meat was so tender that there was no effort in shredding it. I added BBQ sauce with cole slaw and placed it in a roll. Delicious!

Excellent. Makes a great tasting pulled pork that was wonderful when mixed up with our favorite BBQ sauce. Everyone said it was great even without any sauce.

I make this with smoked paprika as the recipe suggests and the whole family loves it! We have made this dish several times and use it as the meat for quick tacos or burritos.
