    Awesome recipe! The cake was a bit heavy and took longer to bake than instructed so the crust was well done. Overall, the cake was delicious and had the density & consistency of an old fashion pound cake which was exactly what I was craving. I’m gearing up to attempt the receipt again but plan to tweak it by substituting cake flour and adding almond extract!
