- 4 slices bread (fresh, food processed)
- 1/3 cup beef broth (I used Better Than Bouillon Beef Base)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- 2 eggs (lightly beaten)
- 1 pinch ground thyme
- 2 pinches parsley
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 4 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 cups red onion (diced)
- salt
- pepper
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 5 Tbsp. light brown sugar
- 2 tsp. pepper (optional)

Excellent!!! Easy and good. Used a supermarket mix of beef, pork and veal; dded smoked paprika, garlic powder and a bit of Creole seasoning. Second time making; will definitely do again

I am confused how to write this review. The meatloaf tasted good, but after letting it rest for 15 minutes, it still fell apart when cutting it. The pan with water??? There was a lot of prep and extra procedures to get to the end product. I know everyone of the reviews were so wonderful, I just can’t go there. There are very FEW Yummly recipes that I don’t give a 5 star.

Amazing!! I couldn’t find a higher fat ground beef so I added ground pork 1.5 beef .5 pork and sautés the veggies in butter.

I used bottled BBQ for the sauce on top and added a tablespoon or so in the meat mixture. Was delicious with green beans & mashed potatoes ❤️👍🏼!

I made this tonight and it was a big hit with my friends! I paired it with mashed potatoes , baked asparagus , and kings Hawaiian rolls (: it was amazing ! Thanks for this recipe , will definitely be making this again !!!

This was the best meatloaf I have ever made maybe the best I have ever had. The pan of water in the oven made it so moist. It may seem like a lot of onions but just trust the process. My husband, myself and 2 boys ate the entire 2lbs of meatloaf. Stuffed but satisfied 😋

Very good. A little sweet because I accidentally started adding brown sugar to the meat.

I would make again. Glase was good, I added two tablespoons of worcestershire sause to glase thought it taated too much like ketchup.

It was just ok had no real taste with no modifications and just a pinch of thyme and salt and pepper there’s no taste at all. Except the glaze and it was just so so

I seen this and wanted to try it out and it was so good bearly have any left overs the only thing I would change next time is just not as much brown sugar on the top or add as much pepper as is called for i was afraidit might be alittle to much pepper,but my daughter loved the sweet ketchup....I will defiently be making this again thank you!!!

absolutley fantastic! i wrapped mine in bacon and it was DELICIOUS. i also substituted bread pieces for actual pre seasoned bread crumbs and it worked fine!

It was really good. The website recipe card just needs to mention the salt amount. It’s not on the ingredients list, but it’s mentioned in the instructions.

Definitely needs salt and pepper. I thought perhaps the broth and werchestershire sauce would add the necessary salt, but they didn't. I'll continue to search for the ultimate meatloaf recipe.
