- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef (I use 80/20, but you can use leaner.)
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 1 cup romano cheese (my mom always uses Romano!)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 5 slices bread (wet, preferable stale)
- 10.5 oz. brown gravy (optional)
