- 8 cups chicken broth (or 8 cups of water and 8 tsp of chicken broth concentrate)
- 4 slices bacon (diced)
- 1 onion (diced)
- 1 jalapeno (finely diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. cumin
- 5 cups refried beans (homemade, or 2 cans pinto beans drained and rinsed)
- 1 cup chicken stock (or saved liquid from making beans)

Very happy with results I did have to hit pot three times for desired doneness

Not good! The onion overwhelmed the recipe. It gave the beans a semi sweet taste. Yuc Take a look at the recipe, when do you add the dry spices?? I assumed while sautéing the vegetables
Are the aromatics the vegetables and spice? Don’t bother with this one. Too time consuming and end result was not good
