BEST paleo brownie I have EVER made! I threw in some pecans and it was so good! I highly recommend these brownies!

First attempt turned out wonderfully! I did them as cupcakes, rather than brownies. Added 1/4 c. cacao powder, since some reviews suggest the original recipe could use more chocolate. I also added about 1/4 c. chopped dried unsweetened cherries (went for a Black Forest flavor profile). I think it’s a superb base recipe. I look forward to experimenting with adding other highlight flavors.

I used dark chocolate instead of chocolate chips and coconut nectar instead of maple syrup. Brownie is moist though a bit bland, is fudgy. The coconut taste is not overpowering either. Will make it again especially for children parties
