- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups half & half
- 3 Tbsp. butter (yes, 3 tablespoons!)
- 1 onions (medium, chopped)
- 1 cup celery (chopped)
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups frozen mixed thawed vegetables, (i use green beans, corn, carrots and peas)
- 2 potatoes (medium, cooked and cubed, or 1 can small white potatoes, cubed)
- 1 Tbsp. parsley (freshly chopped)
- 1/2 tsp. thyme (dried)
- 2 pie pastry (for double crust pie)
- 1 eggs (lightly beaten)

Great! Did it without crust in a cast iron dutch oven also pressure cooked and shredded my own chicken in beef broth with a whole onion, black pepper and salt...ate it with extra crispy tater tots

The first time I made this recipe was for someone who is not a fan of veggies, so I just omitted them and it still turned out great. Made it again today and added peas... even better!

This is my first time. Few problems the double crust on top. Top turned perfect inside still not cooked covered in tin foil and cooked 20 more min at 350. Errors we on me. But I always change it up a bit. 👍
