- 4 oz. unsalted butter (at cool room temperature)
- 3.5 oz. granulated sugar
- 3.5 oz. dark brown sugar (1/2 cup, packed)
- 0.75 oz. sorghum syrup (honey, molasses, or pure maple syrup, I used sorghum, optional)
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 large egg (at cool room temperature)
- 9 oz. natural peanut butter (the ingredient list should read just peanuts and salt)
- 1 oz. peanut powder (such as Jif or PB2)
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 5 oz. all purpose flour (about 1 cup of flour scooped from the container into the cup and leveled off)
- 3 oz. peanut brittle (finely chopped, or Pay Day candy bar)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3/8 tsp. fine sea salt (I keep a container of fine salt that I put through the blender to make it very fine--almost a powder--for making popcorn)
- 1 1/2 cups coating chocolate (Dark or Milk, I use Bada Bing Bada Boom from Chocoley)
