- 1 banana (large, frozen and cut up into chunks)
- 1 cup frozen fruit (or fresh, or berries, we use all kinds of local fruits including cherries, peaches, raspberries, strawberries, plums and various berries, but any kind of fruit is delicious, including pineapple, oranges and others)
- 2 handfuls fresh spinach (tough stems removed)
- 2 cups milk (any kind of dairy or non-dairy depending on the thickness desired)
- 1 Tbsp. honey (local, or another sweetener, only if desired)
- 1 Tbsp. peanut butter
- 1/2 cup oatmeal (cooked or soaked)
- 1 scoop protein powder (your favorite)
- 2 Tbsp. ground flax seed (very finely)
