    This is good, makes way more than 4 servings. When I make this again in going to dial down the milk and add more cheese. The cheese on top with the big bread crumbs is the perfect topper though, it's perfect.

    Perfect! This was delicious and brought home and empty dish. My friends LOVED it. Next time will cook pasta a day early so it will be completely cold. Was easy to make and it helped to have all ingredients pre-measured. Will definitely make again!

    It was a thing of beauty coming out of the oven and we couldn't wait to dig in - which we did twice! Even with going back for seconds (there's only the 2 of us), there was a lot left. Great to feed a basketball team or have a fair amount of leftovers. Will definitely be making again.

    After a week of dieting, I tried this out and it definitely is the best mac and cheese. Now I get requests to make it and mmmmm. I just bought the shredded cheese though; I didn’t have time to hand shred a block, but it still turned out great.

    I didn’t have any cheddar cheese at the time and used Kerry Gold’s dubliner cheese (as well as the Gruyere). I also made Italian meatballs and baked them while the pasta cooked. I layered them between the noodles and baked as directed. It came out good but tasted more like an Alfredo sauce. I plan to make my future batches with real cheddar. :)

    this was amazing, I subbed swiss because my local very small food mart was out of gruyere cheese and still it was great!
