Omg… these cookies came out PERFECTLY! I didn’t have any AP flour, so I substituted with Bread Flour and it made them sooo chewy and thick, in the greatest way. I also used my convection oven at 345*. THIS is the recipe I have been searching for. Thank you for sharing!

I had a little trouble with my oven and over baked the first batch. The rest were very good and tasty!

I got to be honest. I suck at cooking, but this recipe? It was very good. I didn't add cornstarch or salt. The middle was chewy and the outside was hard. Very good:)

Seriously - the BEST cookies I have EVER made! They’re everything I love:
Perfect lift, texture, consistency, taste, done-ness! 💯!!
ONLY CHANGE: I used sticks of margarine instead of butter // my oven bakes hotter than most, so adjusting to 385’ and watching the time was much better. I turned cookie sheet at about 8 minutes and baked another 4 minutes or so. PERFECTION!

400 just seems to high. Bottoms were overdone and tops were undercooked. They somehow tasted bland.

They were yummy! I followed the recipe and directions, except I used light brown sugar (did a 1:1 substitute because I didn’t have dark brown sugar).
I feel like 2 cups max on the semi sweet chocolate chips are more than enough for this recipe. My own personal taste, I’d cut it down to maybe 1.5 cups semi sweet chocolate chips.
And keeping them in a 400ºF oven for 10 mins was ok in a regular cookie sheet.

These turned out great! Made them exactly as the recipe called for and…my family loved them! I will definitely make them again :)
I was able to make 36 cookies in total.

I’ve never really been big in chocolate chip cookies I’m not the biggest chocolate fan I honestly could not stop eating these Resting the dough for AT least 24 hours is key It seems the longer the better I made some three days later and Oh Boy such goodness I experienced I would give 10 stars if I could

These cookies flattened right out and were a greasy mess. Worst recipe I’ve tried so far

Its now my favorite chocolate chip recipe. I browned my butter and let it cool down before adding it. I also reduced chocolate chips to 1 cup for my own preference.

Amazingly soft and gooey with crisp edges, added some sea salt fudge for extra yum!
