Your recipe is closest I’ve found to match how I’ve (successfully) made it & I use the exact same blend- for years.
My version varies slightly.
3/4 c dry tea, 6 c water brewed in coffee pot. (Can even reuse for another 4c pot’s worth w/o wasting another filter)
I like brewing over stovetop (too messy) and just add sugar and H/H to taste.
Also added more water to pitcher to dilute slightly for grand kids.
I’ve also used condensed milk and love it but even a small tin is usually too much unless I’m making a lot (2 pots).
