The tip to let the chicken cook undisturbed until brown and then turn, produced a golden brown outside. The toasted cashews superb!

Super easy, very tasty, don't run your eyes after touching the dried chillies 😂

Was great easy to make. I did not have the dark soy substituted with Worcestershire sauce and it was delicious will make this again.

It was fantastic but a bit too spicy for my taste. If you want to dial the spice down just add some lemon juice at the end.

My new favorite dish! I added a little more brown sugar which appealed to my taste a little more, also added water chestnuts for added crunch. Delicious, I will make this often.

This was fantastic. I tripled the recipe for 2 adults and 2 children (we wanted left-overs); can't imagine how it would have yielded 4 servings as written (?). In doing so, I only used 8 (instead of 12) dried árbol chiles. For me, well, I could have gone the full measure! But even with the 1/3 reduction it was too much for the kids.
No other mods. We'll be saving this one and making it again soon. Thanks!

Really good. Kids loved it. Gotta be careful not to burn the nuts- had to make them twice! Has a nice savor with a low heat to it. I made a double batch and it was great. Took me longer than advertised though.

Super tasty! Everyone that I've made this for so far has loved it. The only changes that I made were substituting the rice with ramen noodles (unflavored, cooked with water & chicken broth) and doubling up on the chicken; there wasn't enough in the original recipe for the carnivores in the house. :)
